What Miss Grand Scotland, Olivia McPike, thought about her time at the MGI final!

Here’s what Olivia had to say about the Miss Grand International final in Myanmar!

My experience at Miss Grand International was truly once in a lifetime, and one I’ll never forget.

I started my pageant journey four years ago and to finally say that I am your Miss Grand Scotland 2018 is such an honour. As you can see from my crowing videos/photos, the tears would not stop flowing… tears of joy of course!

I can’t explain how special the friendships are that you form through pageantry, not only do I love my sister queens Lauren and Tina, but I can now say I have a friend in almost every country in the world! My experience at MGI wouldn’t have been the same without each one of those special ladies.

Without this incredible opportunity I wouldn’t never have been able to experience the culture and beautiful scenery of a country like Myanmar. I’ll never forget how amazing it was to see all the temples with my own eyes, when I look back on photos it’s still so surreal to me that I was actually there.

However don’t be fooled, if you’re planning on being our next queenie you have to be prepared for very early rises, hectic days full of appearances and rehearsals, and late nights! But all is more than worth it when you’re standing there on that MGI stage on the final night, representing your country!

The team at Pageant Girl give amazing opportunities and outstanding support to us girls, and are on hand everyday. I’ll be forever grateful to Holly and the team for believing in me to represent my country internationally, and for the chance to make memories that I’ll never forget. This couldn’t be you next… what are you waiting for?’
