Miss East Birmingham International, Christine Quinney-Spencer hosted a charity BBQ and raffle in order to raise funds for the Sense Charity!
Christine Quinney-Spencer, Miss East Birmingham International, recently hosted a charity BBQ and raffle for the Sense charity!
Here is what Christine had to say about the event:
‘My friend Emma Tamagni is a nail artist, and has kindly offered as a prize to do the winners nails in shellac which is worth £25. So I will be holding a BBQ party, and will pick out the lucky winner then on the 10th July. All raffle money and entrance fee for the party will be donated to SENSE. (The charity that’s important to me because of my mother and uncle having ushers syndrome – the invisible disability).
Entrance fee is £1, and raffle tickets are £1.
We raised £62 altogether! Had a lovely evening, I even cooked for my guests. The winner of the raffle is a lady called Hayley who lives on my road and loves getting her nails done, she is now aware of what Sense do, and wishes me all the luck with representing myself and the pageant.’
What a great idea to have fun, and raise money for a great cause too!
Well done Christine!
