Miss Brighton International, Marra Murphy has recently been fundraising for the Starr Trust Charity
Marra Murphy, our Miss Brighton International, recently took part in a fundraiser at the Virgin Active Gym to help fund-raise for the Starr Trust Charity!
She looks like she had a fantastic day! Here is what she had to say:
‘I volunteered at the Virgin active gym to help fundraise for the Starr Trust charity, which is a local family run charity within my community based in the BN post code. They support young people aged between 10 – 18 to fulfil their potential in sports, arts and education by giving a helping hand to achieve their goals at a time they really need it.
I really had an enjoyable day as I was warmly welcomed by the founders who also gave me a Starr Trust sash to wear which made me feel right at home! I then spoke to Rosie who told me past stories of the people they had previously helped and how they have moved on to become successful in pursuing their dreams. In the morning I gave out raffle tickets and then took part in a 2 hour Zumbathon which was one of the activities included, as well as the Spinathon and Tough Mudder. I had a really enjoyable time keeping fit and helping to raise money for an amazing charity, and I will continue to support their work. ‘
WOW! What an amazing appearance, well done Marra!
